We are based in the Ashanti Region and we build the software our clients run their day on - schools, shops, internet providers and event organisers.
PaalTech builds and operates business software from Ghana, for organisations working in Ghanaian conditions. Every product we sell started as a job somebody asked us to do, and every one of them is still supported by the people who wrote it.
That shapes what we build. We assume the network will drop, the power will dip, the device will be shared, and nobody has a fortnight spare for training. If a system cannot survive that, it is not finished.
We are deliberately small. It means we turn work down, and it means the person who answers your call is the person who can fix the problem.
To build software that works in the conditions our clients actually operate in - and to stay responsible for it long after it goes live.
To be the company Ghanaian schools, shops and providers reach for first when the manual way of working has run out of road.
We tell you what a system will and will not do before you pay for it. If our product is the wrong fit, we say so rather than bending it to close a sale.
Go-live is the middle of the work, not the end. Migration, training and the awkward first term are part of what we deliver.
Records belong to the school, the shop, the provider. We keep them safe, keep them exportable, and never hold them hostage.
